Asphodel's Haven is back up with new and improved security features.

I am taking this opportunity to show my gratitude for her 20-ish years of service to Mirage of Blaze fandom by making a donation to help maintain the site. (Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the donate button.) I encourage others to donate if you can.

Update: Asphodel's Haven is not down for good. She's having some headaches with her hosting service and is working through them as other life responsibilities permit. I will post another update when the site is back up.

Asphodel's translation page seems to have expired? I'm not sure if it's only for me, but if anybody has alternative sites to read the full translation (volume 1, etc) can you please let me know!!!

As I continue to be behind at updating this community, Asphodel continues to be prolific with the translation. Since my last update, she has translated...

Volume 17
Volume 18
Exaudi Nos (side story)

These are all nicely indexed at her main translation page:
https://asphodelshaven.com/translations/mirage

Many thanks, Asphodel!

Wow, I've gotten behind on updating this community, while Asphodel has been prolific in her translation. As I write this, she's now at the start of volume 16. Here index of Mirage translation links can be found here:

http://www.asphodelshaven.com/translations/mirage

So grateful for all her continued work!

Wow, am I behind updating this community. My last post said Asphodel had translated through volume 9. She's been whizzing along and is now in volume 12.

Here's the link to her main translation index for Mirage.

Asphodel has now translated all of Mirage of Blaze volume 9:

So many thanks for all her continued hard work! Definitely deserves an inu.

Because there is still occasionally new Mirage translation...

Asphodel has posted a translation of the Kotarou doujinshi, "Where He Transformed into a Beast":
http://asphodelshaven.com/translation/doujinshi/where-he-transformed-beast

Thanks for all her continued Mirage love over the years! That deserves an "inu."

Asphodel has completed her great translation of the Nagehide-centric side story from Raise the Red Flag: http://www.asphodelshaven.com/translation/novel/mirage-blaze-raise-red-flag

Give it a read. It is fun and revealing, with sides of Naoe-Kagetora angst.

And that deserves an inu (icon).

The amazing Asphodel has translated chapter 1 of "Mirror Image Love" from the Mirage short story collection Raise the Red Flag.

http://www.asphodelshaven.com/translation/novel/mirage-blaze-raise-red-flag/mirror-image-love-chapter-1-right-hands-significance

It's a Nagahide side story touching on the original life of Chiaki prior to Nagahide's possessing his body, also with spot-on reference to the Naoe-Kagetora tangle circa the early days Kagetora getting his memories back.

I've decided to open this community up to Mirage of Blaze-related posts that are not strictly about translation and summaries. Meta, fan fic, images, etc. will now be welcome.

My Reasoning:
1. When I started this community on LJ, it was a complement to the Mirage fandom community there, which is now defunct. There has never really been a DW community to take its place. Asphodels Forums have wonderful stuff but are also disconnected from blogging/social media-type platforms, so people don't go there much. (Check them out, though. Awesome, like her whole site.) Tumblr... I'm not going to get into it. Other current options appear to be largely chat oriented, which is not the same as a stable archive.

2. It's not like this community is high traffic or is going to be, so I don't think opening it up will mean translated-related stuff gets drowned out.

All the translation links will remain on the profile.

So if anyone reading this wants to gush about Mirage, please feel free to do so here.

Since I last updated the community, there's been a lot of action. At Asphodel's Forums we now have:

* Summary of Volume 26 by Rina
* Summary of Kaikou Prequel Volumes 12 and 13 by Rina

And under the Translation section of the site:

* A new chapter of Volume 9 by Asphodel

(You can also go to this community's profile to see all the direct links.)

Thank you, Asphodel and Rina, you ever amazing Mirage fans!

It had escaped me that Rina has also done a summary for Vol. 25:
http://www.asphodelshaven.com/forums/translation-and-summary/summary-vol-25

She also updated vol. 29: Here's the new link (also updated on this community's profile):

Many thanks, Rina!

It is a happy problem to have so much Mirage translation and summary that, as a community administrator, I can't keep up with it. Here are the new posts I've finally added to the profile (click this community's profile for the links):

* The start of volume 9, translation by Asphodel
* The start of volume 18, translation by [personal profile] quaint_twilight
* Showa prequel summaries with some translation: vol. 7, 8, and final scene, by Rina

Thanks to all three for their amazing commitment to this story!
